IT Coordinator (Manager)

Position Summary

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate IT induction training for all new employees
  • Develop a high degree of technical understanding of the functional operation of core business systems to provide as needed support to staff
  • Engage with software vendors to understand release schedules and patch management requirements
  • Initiate and coordinate acceptance testing of new software releases and patches for core business systems
  • Manage all internal IT escalations, initiate special investigations and review external provider responses to ensure appropriate business outcomes
  • Provide direct IT support to the Antoun Group 
  • Engage with the business to identify technology lead efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Lead monthly discussions with each business application owners to identify issues and opportunities
  • Project manage and coordinate all parties for all IT projects including; new acquisitions, system upgrades and the deployment of new capabilities
  • Ensure appropriate management of all IT assets (including Infrastructure Lifecycle management and Software licence management)

Vendor Management of outsourced IT support providers:

  • Review regular reports
  • Manage regular vendor meetings
  • Manage vendor relationships and review service level delivery
  • Work with IT strategy advisor to implement IT roadmap

Participate in IT Steering committee meetings:

  • Report IT performance
    Engage with business needs
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the development of a service level agreement and hold ongoing accountability of service level compliance.
  • Create and maintain a training program for increased business, customer service, and technical knowledge.
  • Participate and assist in driving the IT knowledge management process.
  • Own the IT planning responsibly
  • Lead and participate in IT projects
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of business needs
  • Resolve technical issues including those of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives
  • Develop and update support plans for new product/service releases
  • Prepare the outsourced support team for new product/service releases
  • Assist the finance team with the preparation and administration of IT budget and business plans and metrics

Skills and experience:

  • 4+ years of professional IT experience
  • In-depth experience with project management in IT environments
  • In-depth understanding and experience managing IP Networks 
  • Good knowledge of Cyber risks and effective countermeasures 
  • Experience in Microsoft technologies including Azure Active Directory, SharePoint and Office365 
  • Experience working with external software vendors
  • Experience with IT end-user support and training
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Meeting and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to articulate business requirements into functional design documents 
  • Experience in process flow mapping, solution design, and documentation
  • Relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills

Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science or computer engineering 
  • ITIL foundations
  • Full working rights in Australia
