People & Culture Administration Assistant

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced, organised and self-motivated People & Culture Administration Assistant who is passionate about their areas of expertise, hands-on, friendly and approachable and takes ownership for ‘getting things done’, all whilst maintaining a professional approach to their work.

You will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative, P&C and operational support activities which collectively enables everyone working within the business to perform at their best while helping to ensure our business remains a ‘fun place to work’.

Responsibilities:
  • End to end recruitment
  • Preparing contracts of employment and other relevant documentation 
  • End to end onboarding
  • Assisting with policies and procedure reviews
  • HR reporting
  • Coordinate training activities including planning, scheduling and working with external providers
  • Assist with the salary benchmarking and reviews including EBA’s
  • Assist with office-based WHS requirements
  • Coordinate and assist with rolling out a new HRIS and ATS system
  • Assist with exit process
  • Assist and coordinate milestone celebrations and company events
  •  
Office Administration:
  • Responsible for reception and general administration duties
  • Plan and coordinate building maintenance activities
  • Arrange apparel and PPE for new starters
  • Order office supplies including stationery and groceries etc
  • Maintain various company registers
  • Arrange domestic travel
Skills and Qualifications
    • 2+ local years human resources administration experience (mandatory)
    • Self-motivated, self-starter, proactive and efficient administrative duties (including reception)
    • Proficient in HRIS systems & Microsoft Office applications
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
    • Time management skills
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
    • Analytical minded (preferred but not essential)
    • Currently studying or Tertiary qualification in HR
    • Drivers Licence
    • Full working rights in Australia
