Ross Smith Ave Roadwork
Antoun were engaged by Sydney Airport to widen Ross Smith Avenue in order to improve traffic flow from the Sydney Airport Long Term Carpark. Much of the work was in the centre of a heavily trafficked road, requiring night works under road occupancy and lane closures with contra flow traffic control in place.

The scope of works included
- Widening the road up to 1.5m on either side by constructing new flexible pavement with an asphalt surface
- Installation of kerbs and gutters, as well as other drainage and pits to improve the flow of water in the area
- Installation of new street lights, signage and line marking
The results
The scope of works was completed on time and on budget, with the widening of the road now saving commuters and visitors to Sydney Airport substantial amounts of time in travel.
