Antoun were engaged by council to undertake the remediation and repairs of a creek levee which had been significantly impacted during a flood in April 2015. A key component of this project (to adhere to legislative WHS requirements) involved temporary works to provide a safe construction area and coordination of works so as not to increase the risk of further failure in the event of a flood occurring during the construction period.

The scope of works included
- Install approx. 75ea x 900mm diameter Reinforced Concrete Piles
- Install approx.108m long reinforced concrete pile cap and retaining wall
- Repair and reinstatement of the existing block work retaining wall, footpath and pedestrian safety fence
The full scope of works was completed on time and on budget, including the location and protection of all authority services, such as the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS) 1800mm diameter, Integral Energy power poles, smaller connecting sewer lines, watermains and communication assets.
