The Windsor District Baptist Church employed us to demolish the Church’s existing access and construct a new carpark, including the relocation of ungerground services and the installation of storm water drainage and paving.
The scope of works included
- Initial works incorporated the demolition of the existing road and carpark, followed by the relocation of underground services and the installation of storm water drainage
- We constructed over 350 lineal metres of concrete kerbing
- Prior to the pouring of asphalt, we conducted base preparation and compaction of the subgrade
- Final works involved line markings on the newly constructed carpark and the installation of pavers to the entrances including pram ramps and protective bollards
The completed carpark will provides an addition fifty one parking spaces for Church goers. Currently, the unsuitable subgrade requires bridging over the existing subgrade using Tensar Triax and cement stabilising. The shallow existing services also require rerouting prior to commencing carpark construction works.
